After a long period of working on A LIFE , Christopher began working on a new Series TRAVELLING MAN which was inspired by another trip back to the Red Centre in 2004. Travelling through South Australia and around the McDonnell Ranges Christopher returned to his first love, the desert. New paintings from this journey began appearing in Galleries including ART GALLERY COLLECTIONS at Surfers Paradise. In June 2005 the painting THREE GREEKS DRINKING UZO picked up an award at the NudgeeArt Prize and MAIL MAN DOWN was short listed for the OUTBACK ART PRIZEin 2005. The final Exhibition including works about China, Japan and the USA were shown at CWM GALLERIES and opened by Andrew Knott in March 2006.

Christopher's work is now spread around the world with collectors in England, Scotland, USA, Japan, Malaysia, Kuwait, Canada, New Zealand, Germany, Taiwan, South Africa and Australian Galleries and Private Collections. Some paintings from early Series are still available by contacting the Galleries listed on this web site.

Christopher began working on his new Series TERRA AUSTRALIS in early 2006 and the Exhibition of 31 paintings about the Explorers of Australia opened on May 24th at the new CWM Galleries in Sydney and was opened by Malcolm Turnbull

THE AUSTRALIANS

In 2008 Christopher began working on a new Series to be called THE AUSTRALIANS. The Series features people and events that helped to form the modern Australia. The thirty paintings involved many years of Research and follows the rise of the native born population and their desire to create a Society that was different and could cope with a new and different Landscape.

Australians are a unique people that made many mistakes along the way but they are original, vibrant, enthusiastic and fair and this Series reveals the birth of the Australain persona.
